Lee, I’m sure it just comes from my name.
Do you own any pets?
Yes, Loki and Tinkabell are my two Pitbulls. Loki is my partner in crime. And then I have two rescue dogs, Cadence and Sunshine.
What’s the funniest horse name you’ve ever come across?
Skaapie, a pony from Durbanville. He was a bit cheeky.
What motto do you live by?
“Perfection is a lot of small things done well.”
What is your favourite movie and why?
Legends of the Fall. It’s just one that stands out.
What’s your favourite food and why?
A stew in winter – it’s nice and homey.
Biggest life changing moment?
Jumping my first Derby. It made me realize that I really wanted to pursue showjumping as a career. It was a dream come true and set me on the course I’m on.
Best horse you’ve ever competed on and why?
Nissan Wanda. She has achieved a lot for us and continues to try her best. She always gives her 110% for me.
If you could be any super hero, who would you be?
Deadpool – I like his sense of humor.
What’s your worst habit?
Craziest thing you’ve ever done and would you ever do it again?
Bungee jumping, and absolutely not!
What makes you laugh?
Most things actually, but I’m a fan of comedies.

A day with my horse, dogs and family. The three things that make me the happiest!
If you had one last dinner on earth, who would you have it with?
Mohamed Ali. He is the greatest sportsman of all time in my mind. His had incredible self belief.
If your horse could talk, what would she say to you?
Nissan Wanda would say it’s a pleasure and can you stop trying to kiss me.
